Yes, that’s what it’s designed for. Instead of earbuds sitting in your ear, SideSound uses slim speakers built into the mask that sit around your ears. Slide them so they sit comfortably for the way you sleep.

SideSound uses an elastic, adjustable strap that fits most adult heads and stays in place when you roll onto your side.

AirPods are excellent everyday earbuds. Bedtime asks something different. Earbuds sit in your ear and can press into it when you lie on your side, they can fall out in the bedding, and they don’t block light. SideSound keeps the speakers outside your ears and gives you blackout and sound in one.

Anything your phone or Bluetooth device can play: podcasts, audiobooks, sleep stories, ASMR, music, meditation, white noise or brown noise. Tip: turn on your phone’s sleep or focus mode so notifications don’t play through the mask, and keep the volume at a comfortable, moderate level.
